Subject: Timekeeping, Pay Period 7 – Farm Bill Funds

To: All Offices

Purpose. To issue guidance on the submission of pay period 07 timesheets.

Expiration Date. September 30, 2008.

Action Required – Close of Business Friday, April 11, 2008, timesheets must be submitted.

Action Required – No later than 9:00 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2008, Timekeepers must verify timesheets.

Action Required – No later than 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2008, Supervisors must certify timesheets.

The 2002 Farm Bill was extended through April 18, 2008. We have received additional allocations in the following farm bill programs; Conservation Reserve Program (CRP), Farm and Ranch Land Protection Program (FRPP), Wildlife Habitat Incentive Program (WHIP), Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP), and Ground and Surface Water Conservation (GSWC). To ensure proper utilization of these funds, for pay period 7, timesheets must be submitted by close of business (COB), Friday, April 11, 2008. Timekeepers will need to verify timesheets as soon as possible so supervisors can certify them by 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2008. No charges to these funds can be made in pay period 8 unless a new Farm Bill is passed or we receive another extension from Congress.
