Subpart C - Responsibilities and Definitions
Section MT400.20 - Responsibilities
MT400.20(l)(2) ICCS' Leaders are responsible for the following within their
area:
(a) Provide training to Area NRI coordinators and field office staffs to
ensure consistent and quality annual resources inventory data collection.
MT400.20(l)(4) ICCS' Leaders are responsible for the following within their
area:
(a) Provide information to Area NRI coordinators and field office staffs to
ensure consistent and quality annual resources inventory data collection.
(b) Provide automated data collection materials (that is, instructions, imagery,
maps, and historical databases) to Area NRI coordinators for distribution.
| (c) Maintain the official 'point of record' for all NRI files,
imagery, and supporting data (current and historical) both electronically and by
hardcopy, as needed. |
MT400.20(l)(5) ICCS' Leaders are responsible for the following within their
area:
(a) Incorporating Geographic Imaging and
GIS technology to complete annual
inventory cycles to the highest quality standards.
MT400.20(m)(2) State Natural Resources Inventory Coordinators are
responsible for the following within their state:
(a) Coordinating the allocation of Primary Sample Unit (PSU) annual data
collection workload within the state (includes on-site and off-site data
collection).
MT400.20(m)(4) State Natural Resources Inventory Coordinators are
responsible for the following within their state:
(a) Developing and integrating NRI workload and budget needs into the state's
strategic planning process.
MT400.20(o)(5) Data Collectors are responsible for:
(5) Using approved Geographic Imaging and GIS technology as the foundation
for all data collection activities within the state.
MT400.20(p) Assistant State Conservationists for Field Operations are
responsible for:
(1) Assigning an Area NRI coordinator.
(2) Incorporating NRI data collection workload into annual strategic
plans.
(3) Assigning staff specialists as required to support annual resources
inventories.
(4) Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of PSUs and point
locations.
MT400.20(q) Area NRI Coordinators are responsible for:
(1) Coordinating all aspects of NRI data collection activities at the
area level.
(2) Providing oversight and support to annual resource inventory data
collection to insure consistent and quality data collection area-wide.
(3) Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of PSU's and point
locations.
MT400.20(r) District Conservationists are responsible for:
(1) Completing annual resources inventory data collection within a
specified timeframe in accordance with established quality standards.
(2) Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of PSUs and point
locations.
