Hosted by: USDA Food and Agriculture Council, Montana Agri-Women, Montana Cattlewomen, Montana Farm Bureau Women, Women Involved in Farm Economics (WIFE), Montana Beef Council, Ag in Montana Schools, Intertribal Agriculture Council, Montana Department of Agriculture

The purpose of the symposium is to provide an avenue for women involved in the promotion of Montana’s agriculture to learn about issues affecting Montana’s rural agricultural communities, promote leadership development and further support women’s leadership roles within those communities.

Registration fee is $50 prior to September 10, 2012, and $60 after September 10.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Staybridge Suites, the host hotel. The Staybridge Suites is located at 201 3rd Street, Northwest, Great Falls, Montana, and the phone number is 406-761-4903. Participants are to identify themselves as part of the Women Stepping Forward for Ag group at the hotel. Rates at the Staybridge are $77 per night with an additional charge of $5 if there are more than two people to a room. Rooms must be reserved by September 7, 2012, to receive the special room rate.

Exhibit: If you are interested in having a trade show exhibit (informational or to sell products), the cost is $100, which includes one conference registration. Please contact Maria Braun at 406/778-2238 ext. 102 or Lori Valadez at 406/587-6969 for a booth registration form.

Silent Auction: A silent auction will be held. Please bring an item from your area as a donation for the silent auction. The funds from the silent auction will be used for future symposiums.
