Land Evaluation for CroplandLand Evaluation (LE) factors are designed to evaluate parcels based on the physical characteristics of the soils present within any particular parcel. The LE component is used to rate soils based on their suitability for a specific agricultural use, such as cropland, forestland, or rangeland. The LE factors in the Statewide LESA are based on cropland land use. The Statewide LESA system integrates three soil factors to determine the LE score.
