6. Open Space Strategic Value

This factor evaluates the impact of the parcel on open space objectives for the community. Lands identified within a strategic open space plan have more community value in addition to the agricultural value. An open space plan is defined as an ordinance, regulation or planning document adopted or authorized by a local government entity. Open space plans developed by non-governmental organizations must be concurred in by the appropriate local government entity to be considered under this factor.
