Growth Habit: tall, single stemmed tree, form is upright oval that becomes irregular with age
Drought Resistance: good
Wildlife Value: good pollinator, seed pods provide food for birds
Disease: susceptible to borer damage
Other: used in reclamation plantings, nitrogen fixing plant from the legume family; tolerates dry infertile soils
