Soil Survey Area Estimated Animal Unit Month (AUM)/Acre Tables

Estimated AUM/Acre tables are available by soil survey area. The table will list range AUMs/Acre for all soil map units within a given soil survey area. For tame dryland pasture AUMs/Acre, multiply the range AUMs/Acre by a factor of 1.5.

To view or download the estimated AUM/Acre table for a soil survey area, select that area on the map or skip to the text links below. For land parcels that fall within two or more soil survey areas, you may need the estimated AUM/acre table from each of those areas. These are large tables, some can take over a minute to load.

MT633 - Bob Marshall, Scapegoat, Great Bear, and Mission Mountains Wilderness
MT635 - Deer Lodge National Forest
MT640 - Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, western part
MT642 - Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, eastern part
