SUBJECT: ENG—Updates to the National Engineering Field Handbook Part 650, Montana Supplement; Chapter 53–Engineering Worksheets.

National Engineering Field Handbook Series (Part 650/Book I), Montana Supplement to the Engineering Field Handbook, 210-VI, Amendment MT-51 (PDF; 48 KB)

Purpose: To distribute revised Engineering Worksheets MT-ENG-7 and MT-ENG-253.

Effective Date: This supplement is effective upon receipt.

Explanation of Changes: To remove and discard Engineering Worksheet Construction Specifications Cover Sheet, MT-ENG-7 dated February 2005 and Water Rights Considerations for Irrigation and Stockwater Systems, MT-ENG-253 dated March 2006 and replace with Engineering Worksheet MT-ENG-7 and MT-ENG-253 dated June 2008.

This transmittal has been electronically located at the Montana NRCS web site under: http://www.mt.nrcs.usda.gov/technical/eng/amendMTsupplementNEH/index.html which includes the Montana Tabulation Sheet. The table of contents for each chapter is found at “Chapter Cover, Introduction, Instructions, Index”.

Explanation of Changes:

  1. Remove and replace Montana Tabulation Sheet in front of the Montana Supplement to the Engineering Handbook.
  2. 2. Remove and replace after index tab Chapter 53, Engineering Worksheets, Table of Contents, Pages 53-7/8 dated February 2008 with Pages 50-7/8 dated June 2008.
  3. 3. Remove and replace worksheet MT-ENG-7, Construction Specifications Cover Sheet, dated February 2005 with MT-ENG-7 dated June 2008 and MT-ENG-253, Water Rights Considerations for Irrigation and Stockwater Systems, dated March 2006 with MT-ENG-253 dated June 2008.
